Is it hot enough for you yet?
Time to head to the pool
The house and garden can wait
As the ‘neighborhood back yard” is the place to stay cool…
Thanks to all who helped with the July 4th festivities as we welcomed all the neighborhood friends to our traditional open day! Let the fun continue…

SATURDAY JULY 13 – Annual Summerfest Adult Party
It’s time for the Annual Summerfest Adult Party. Come enjoy a wonderful evening of food (the pig is roasted at the pool over a 24-hour period!), with plenty of side dishes, salads and dessert, fun, beverages, live entertainment and a chance to swim until 11pm. All this for just $25 per person – tickets available at the gate. This event happens rain or shine – and it’s a wonderful way to share our pool with friends and neighbors. All welcome – open to members and non-members, adults 21 and over.
ADULT SWIM EVERY SUNDAY
If you long for 60 minutes of peace and quiet at the pool, we have the answer. Every Sunday from 10am-11pm, the pool is open to adults only to enjoy a quiet swim! If you’d just like to enjoy the moment, bring your own coffee and book/newspaper/kindle and relax poolside, for the hour before opening time for all.
RICARDO’S LUNCH BAR
This fun al fresco dining experience is available every Tuesday and Thursday 11.30am-2.30pm and weekends 11.30am-5.30pm (subject to the volunteer staffing) If the lights are on, and someone is inside, feel free to inquire about cuisine available for purchase!
HEADS UP FOR SATURDAY JULY 20
The Broyhill Crest Barracudas Swim team will be hosting Divisionals at our pool on this day. This is where we host all six swim teams in our division, to compete for division titles. This is a huge event with many swimmers and associated team members converging at the pool from 7am until 2pm. The pool will open immediately at the completion of the event, but before that, please expect and understand that traffic will be congested in the area, and swimmers will be everywhere! All are welcome to come support the teams, and enjoy the comraderie of the swim teams. This is the last swim team event of the year and your understanding is appreciated.
ONE RULE A WEEK
Not really a rule, but a reminder! The Lost and Found plastic bins, located on the bench outside the guards office, are OVERFLOWING with items that need to find their owners. Please take a look – you may not realize you are even missing your best bathroom towel, but your kids may well have brought it to the pool and left it there! Shoes, water bottles, clothing of all sizes – just check it out. Reclaim your property! After next week, we will open it to all – see something you need, feel free to take it. Recycling at its best!
Stay cool…
