| Hi Folks Thanks for a fabulous season With lots of swimming and fun in the sun It’s sad to realize it is over But yes, 2021 Summer is done… Thank you to all who made this summer such a friendly and fabulous one. It was great to see a full pool right up to the last minute on Monday, and then the 4-legged friends enjoying the waters for their hour of frivolity! And although the pool grounds are now closed, there’s still things happening… FOOD TRUCK FRIDAY – September 10 This Friday, enjoy dinner from TACO ONE serving up Tacos, Bowls, Burritos and more. Pre-orders encouraged: https://gfynd.in/So3s – walk-ups welcome, but be sure to come early before they sell out of your favorites. Truck will be in the pool parking lot from 5 pm-7 pm. Purchase your food to take home and enjoy, or feel free to bring a chair and tail gate with neighbors and friends. The parking lot is open to all! POST SEASON CLEAN UP DAY – Saturday September 11 Just as we open, so must we close. Closing day clean-up will be Saturday from 9 am-1 pm. We need men, women and kid power to stack chairs, cover playground equipment, hang tarps around Kathy’s Korner and the pavilion, and generally winterize the pool grounds. It’s manual labor. Work gloves may be helpful, and bright and cheerful faces are welcomed! Complete your volunteer hours, or just turn up to support and assist the pool board as we say goodbye to summer 2021. NEED FIREWOOD? If you are looking forward to firepit gatherings or warm indoor fires this winter, we have the wood for you! Solid Oak, cut in 16”-20″ fireplace lengths will be available for purchase at very reasonable rates sometime in October. Watch this space for pre-ordering, or on-the-day pick up details.
