Cool Pool News – 2024 – No. 5

Final Pre-Season Workday – THIS SATURDAY, MAY 18

Thank you to Robyn Leersnyder, our workday “captain,” and all the hard-working volunteers who came to help at last week’s workday! These volunteers made good progress on getting the pool ready for Opening Day – but there is still much work to be done!

Come on out this week, meet fellow pool members, make new friends, and help us prepare the pool for the season this Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. No experience necessary – just yourself and a willing spirit. We need all kinds of help from heavy lifting to cleaning out refrigerators and freezers – so all ages and abilities can pitch in.  Let us know your plans – sign up on our SignUp Genius today and make your volunteer hours count!

We Need You – Opening Day Picnic!!!

We are planning an Opening Day picnic on Saturday, May 25th, but we need volunteers to make this event happen! Come on out and help set up, flip burgers and dogs, wrap food, clean up, and meet and greet fellow members! This is the perfect way to kick off the summer season. If you’re not available for Opening Day, be sure to check out our Sign-Up Genius for many more volunteer opportunities…many hands make light work!
